If you haven’t been able to choose from the previous (amazing) marketing ideas we’ve posted, there are more coming you’re way in just a few sentences. The choice is pretty broad ranging from some more conventional ideas (with a twist) to some pretty wacky ones you might shake your head at immediately. Well stop that and think about whether it will attract attention. Isn’t that what you want? Well if no one knows you now, they will after you implement some of the fresh ideas we’ve put out there.
Hot summer months make everyone thirsty. Give away free cups of water while you’re wearing branded t-shirts or have a banner around your stand.
Ok this might sound crazy but why not? Ryan thought about the idea of building a fort out of cardboard boxes and painting them beforehand, sit indside it and see who comes to see you! You could certainly get people who’d have a peek inside. He said he’d even sacrifice his lunch for it.
If you have a strong avatar, try free face painting in a town centre for kids or adults (if you get any volunteering).
Snow Ball Fight
Again…slightly different you could say but original ideas are important and if you don’t want to splash the cash then your ideas will often be slightly crazy. If you want to do something during the winter, host a massive snowball fight (if there is snow). All you’d have to do is spread the news through flyers, viral e-mails and of course the classic, word of mouth (Facebook).
Conservative but very useful. Almost everyone has keys and it’s better if they don’t have to fumble about with them so give them a branded lanyard!
Yes, seriously, perform some magic tricks on the street with your face painted and a branded t-shirt on.
Auction off your forehead
Despite the fact you’re frowning while you’re reading this, people have actually done this so the idea is being put out there for you to use if you wish.
Create kites and paint them, flying them about the city centre.
Bake a cake or muffins and use the icing as a branding feature. Then distribute them amongst the public or send them to possible customers.
Be sneaky, buy an all day bus/train/subway ticket and put flyers on all the seats or put one in each magazine or newspaper and then if the conductor asks who did it look away.
