Branding – Mobile and Tablet Cases
As you know, when it comes to branding the more exposure the better to hammer home your brand and make it stick in people’s minds. You will know the obvious items such as business cards, cups, pens and lanyards but something that PoLR has been meaning to do for a while is to brand up phone and tablet cases with a funky, attention grabbing design to promote the brand while while we are out and about on PoLR business. PoLR will be undergoing some changes over the next few months with a new website being launched in the Summer so it seemed like the ideal time to experiment with this branding and order in a few samples.
Eager to start with the Nexus 7 (my new toy), we found a website called Ideal Cases which would allow us to upload our logo, corporate colours and message plus our PoLR bears so we could have branded mobile phone and tablet cases quickly and easily and without having to commit to larger orders.
Service was great and enquiries were dealt with quickly. Delivery was incredibly fast it was dispatched the day it was ordered and it arrived the next day which meant I got to test it out while on holiday! Have received loads of compliments and enquiries over it too so for us, it’s definitely worth going back for ipad and phone cases. Case Branding Steps
When you get onto the Ideal Cases website you simply choose the case you want branded up. I chose the Kindle Fire after emailing to confirm it’s compatible with a Nexus 7 . You then have the option of choosing how to personalise your case, options are:
- Use photos you upload into a pre-designed grid layout
- Freestyle – upload a design of your own
- DIY Fan Art – choose from a set of logos, artwork and images
In all of the options above you can choose exactly how you would like the case to look and use as much text as you see fit!
I chose the Freestyle option as I had PoLR related images/branding I wanted to use. When I went into this option I added a background and uploaded images to personalise using the simple to use personalisation tool. It was really easy to use and I found that once you’d placed an item on the canvas it was easy to go in and edit so corporate colours etc could easily be matched.
The finished design
Here’s a visual of the finished design that was sent off for printing – achieved in under 10 minutes.
The final product
We love the finished product and the Nexus is quite at ease in it’s new home!
