Customer service emails – showing you care

After my post last week regarding the customer support I received from one online store I started to look around for other instances of customer service emails either succeeding or failing. Instead, I stumbled on a press release from e-dialogue that had some report findings that distracted me. The report showed 76% of young consumers are still being influenced by e-mail when looking to make an online purchase compared to 24% who were influenced by social media. Read more…

Did you try turning it off then on again?

The last few posts of mine have been in relation to an experience or a rant but i’ve not had much time to keep up with news lately so I will apologise just now for this post being along the same vein.

The other day someone asked me for IT help in the office, because I was busy (and trying to buy time until I had time to help) I gave them the classic IT support response of ‘Try turning it off then on again’. I know it was a cop out but I did say I was busy..! Read more…

How much more applicable is SEO if you’re an Ecommerce website?

A lot of our clients for SEO are Ecommerce websites. Not all of them by any stretch of the imagination, but a fair old percentage. The thing about Ecommerce is that you pretty much know the success of an Intenet Marketing campaign by the sales increase enjoyed. This is mostly the case, arguably you could say that the traffic increased Tenfold but the sales actually dipped, so the conversion of the website let the side down.
