    I like analytics – maybe its the accountant in me – but where it falls down is being able to track back to the user. E.g. I have many new visitors from London but with analytics, I have no way of addressing that potential market. I could service it if I knew better who was looking. Whereas, I'm NOT interested in the hundreds of people in Burma who seem interested in my articles on Trade Debtors – and now Melrose, Massachusets that is.

    Is it totally impossible to trace the IP address of website visitors?
