GTwestival 25th March

Last September a group of Twitter users got together in 130 cities for a Twestival. In the process they raised over $450k for 135 charities (£3675 from Glasgow) – Not bad for a night of partying and putting faces to Twitter avatars!

This March (the 25th to be precise) sees another Twestival in Glasgow (GTwestival). This year we will be raising money for Concern Worldwide who provide access to education for some of the world’s poorest children. So, save the date and get ready to buy your ticket very, very shortly!

The venue is the Lansdowne in Glasgow’s West End. Just 2 minutes walk from Kelvinbridge underground and into a basement bar – you really feel you’ve left any hustle and bustle behind, it’s the perfect venue for a relaxed night out meeting fellow Tweeters in one of the West End’s funkiest pubs (in my opinion anyway!)
