PoLR Portfolio : the Gannochy Trust
Here at PoLR HQ we don’t tend to publish our portfolio on our blog as we have other outlets for that. However, we have just launched a new website and are feeling rather chuffed with ourselves due to the ease of the build and the cracking testimonial that we received (see below).
About the Gannochy Trust
The Gannochy Trust was set up in 1973 by A K Bell for charitable and public purposes for the people of Perth and now includes the whole of Scotland. The Trust provides support to community projects both large and small along four themes.
- Inspiring Young People.
- Improving the Quality of Life of the Disadvantaged and Vulnerable.
- Supporting and Developing Community Amenities.
- Care for the Natural and Man-Made Environment.
The Trust includes two farms, cricket grounds and a woodland park, it also provides both rented and sheltered housing in the Gannochy Housing Estate in Perth.
Where we came in
We we approached to develop a website that was easy to use, could be controlled by the Trust office staff and that provided a means to inform the public of the work the Trust carries out.
We designed a website that was clean, clear and provided quick and easy navigation into one of the four Trust areas (A K Bell, Grant-Making, Woodland Park and Property). The website is powered by a CMS which allows anyone with access to log into an admin area and update the site with easy.
Photography for the website was supplied By Jessica McDermott (apart from the archives obviously!)
Testimonial
They are a young, dynamic company who worked closely with us at every stage of the development of the website and their communications have been clear and concise. Their proposal was highly competitive, and they have produced a sharp, crisp website within a realistic time frame. We look forward to a lasting, fruitful professional relationship with them in the future.
