The bronze age of the marketing world! Eww, shiny things!

I have decided on a visual demonstration for this post in the form of a Mitchell and Webb sketch (unfortunately not Peep Show but hey, you can’t have everything). I want to use it to show the importance of company’s embracing this new-fangled business of the Internet to keep the edge over the competition. Or , if I’m being honest, I just wanted the excuse to add them to our site.

We’re always banging on about Online Media and have written this post to show that a company that refuses to embrace online media and realise its capabilities could rapidly see its competitors overtake it online. Read more…

Having your branding recognised is undoubtedly one of the most sought after aspects of growing a business. For people to recognise you is extremely beneficial when they come to make a purchasing decision, suddenly they think “I need that service, who provides it?”

If you’ve managed to expose them to your brand beforehand or on more than one occasion then you have a good shout for being in their minds when they are looking to go with the provider of that service (or product). Read more…

How to keep an eye on your brand’s reputation online

Much has been written on the importance of maintaining a professional online reputation for yourself or your company (especially after the debacle that was the Ryanair respose to Jason Roe’s blog post the other week).  On a simple level (as this is not what this post is about) it is generally advised to maintain a positive attitude to critisicm and to acknowledge that a comment has been made in the first place.

While it would seem that some people are still unaware of the importance of an online reputation the majority of people do ‘get it’. For anyone out there who needs convincing, let us take the opportunity to explain why it is worth keeping track of. Read more…
